Checking In with Tower Clock

1–2 minutes

The Tower Clock (Yearbook) team was newly formed in late fall after interviewing candidates and building a fresh team. We began by designing a new logo, theme, and vision for the 2025–2026 Volume 70, honoring America’s 250th anniversary with a full-color yearbook featuring fascinating backgrounds.

Despite limited support—including no access to quality SLR cameras and delayed access to the TC office key until the first week of February 2026—we remained committed. We used iPhones for photography, collected photos from clubs and organizations, and gathered images from Gallaudet’s social media accounts such as @gallaudetu, @gallaudetbison, and @gallaudetcampus.life. Gallaudet Athletics shared the team and some of the action photos in February.

We also hosted booths at Homecoming and the Holiday Market, where we sold individual pictures. In addition, we hosted two headshot events totaling 24 hours, with a third scheduled for February 17–19 at three locations; Clerc Hall, Rathskellar and Benson Hall.

Our team remains highly energized and dedicated to preserving the history of Gallaudet University on Kendall Green. If you have questions or would like to contribute as a writer, we warmly welcome you. Please contact Elvis at towerclock@gallaudet.edu. Thank you.
